Therapy with Lizabeth

"Honor the moment between no longer and not yet" -  Nancy Levin

I believe therapy has the power to radically transform one's experience of life — changing people, perspectives, and ideas about who we are, all flowing in a new direction.

I offer therapy for individuals in Los Angeles and online throughout Califronia.

About

About Me

As a native Californian of Italian descent, I have always valued my roots and the diverse cultures that surround me. My journey in the professional world began in the Bay Area, where I immersed myself in the contemporary art scene leading me to Los Angeles, which I now call home. Working alongside artists and creatives, I gained a broader perspective on culture, identity, and humanity. However, despite the enriching experiences, I felt a void within myself. It was during a period of personal challenges and battles with depression that I embarked on a transformative journey of self-discovery. Through this process, I was able to reconnect with myself and create a meaningful life.

Vipassana meditation became an integral part of my healing journey, allowing me to cultivate mindfulness and inner joy. I savor moments spent at the ocean, being in nature, gardening, learning about our many plant allies, and observing the mystical transformation of caterpillars into butterflies in the garden. Additionally, I find spiritual connection by sitting at the altar with my ancestors, as I aspire to be a good ancestor myself. As a proud mom to a rescued shih-tzu, I have experienced the compassion, resilience, and wisdom that animals teach us. I also have a passion for exploring different cuisines and believe that food serves as a universal language that bridges cultural differences.

I am committed to helping others on their own journeys of self-discovery, healing, and personal growth - rewriting their own stories. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their emotions, find their inner strength, align with their values, and discover what truly brings joy and meaning to their lives.

Why Cascata Psychotherapy? Cascata in Italian translates to waterfall. Waterfalls are often seen as symbols of change, good fortune, and moving forward, all aspects we embrace in navigating the journey of growth and transformation.
