Lizabeth Belli, MA — Humanistic, Relational & Trauma-Informed Therapy
About Me
I’m Lizabeth Belli, MA (AMFT #139514), a therapist based in Los Angeles offering somatic, humanistic, trauma-informed therapy online across California. I support women, teens, and adults navigating grief, anxiety, identity, and life transitions — at your pace, with care.
My Path
I’ve always been drawn to the ways people express meaning — through art, story, and connection. My career first began in the Bay Area art world, where I worked alongside artists and creatives exploring culture and identity. But during that time, I also found myself struggling — feeling untethered and disconnected from my own sense of purpose. That personal reckoning led me toward therapy, mindfulness, and eventually this work: helping others find their way home to themselves.
What Grounds Me
My approach is shaped by mindfulness, nature, and a deep respect for ancestry and community. I practice Vipassana meditation and often find calm near the ocean or while tending to my plants. I also find meaning through food — the way it connects us to our culture, people, and moments of shared care. I believe healing happens through connection — with ourselves, others, and the world around us.
I’m also the proud mom of a rescued shih-tzu who constantly reminds me of compassion, presence, joy and plenty of side-eyed humor.
My Work
I believe therapy is a space to slow down, listen inward, and rewrite the stories that no longer fit. My role is to help you explore your emotions, reconnect with your inner strength, and uncover what brings meaning and ease to your life.

Why Cascata Psychotherapy?
Cascata in Italian translates to waterfall. Waterfalls are often seen as symbols of change, good fortune, and moving forward, all aspects we embrace in navigating the journey of growth and transformation.
